My last conversation with a friend was about daytime telly and David Dickinson.
She died suddenly 4 days later.
Now I think about how bonkers it is that Dickinson's Real Deal was the last thing we talked about and she would howl with laughter at how “annoyed” I am about it. Each time I see him on telly I am reminded of Abi and our friendship, which makes me smile.
Of course I am not overly annoyed about it but had I know it would be our last chat I’d have said something profound, sweary, outrageous, heartwarming or simple. Lesson learnt.
From now on everyone will get a "love you" at the end of every call. Well actually cold callers wont!
