Review : Bare Biomass : Al fresco entertaining

Al fresco entertaining is one of the great joys of the summer. As much as I love a cuppa in my kitchen or dining room it's the garden that comes into its own during the summer months. Gone are the heavy stew pots of the winter months, in their place the big salad bowls. Big chunky mugs are replaced with sturdy yet pretty tumblers. The freezer is full of ice and lollies, the fridge is full of drinks and salad.

Iona introduced me to Bare Biomass at the Glanusk Fun Ride, so I had a chat with them about their products and they very kindly gave me some to review. Their briquettes are made of woodchip and are ideal for open fires, woodburners, chimineas and fire pits. They're great! They're all the same size so if you are meticulous with your measurements you can stack them stress free plus they don't smoke, there's no spitting and no nasty smells.

My mind then started whirring, like it does when I'm thinking! If, like me, you are looking for a birthday or wedding present what about a firepit, some Bare Biomass briquettes, firelighters, marshmallows and a toasting fork combo? Ideal!
